A Note to the Bride and Groom...about our wedding photography services

Saribalis-Cole Photography provides personalized and full-service professional photography.

I believe that every wedding is as unique as the two people who are being married. When I photograph a wedding I look for and capture the beautiful and meaningful moments as they occur, as well as the special relationships and details that are part of your day. I feel that my approach to wedding photography is to blend into the day and provide a very personal and creative collection of images of your wedding without directing it. Along with the images of the candid moments, I strive to photograph your formal portraits and family groupings in a fun and relaxed manner.

Whether shooting indoors or out, in a church, cave or a garden, your wedding day photographs should be a reflection of who you are and what means the most to you.

Answers to frequently asked questions

What type of equipment do you use?

Your wedding day Photographs are created with professional Nikon digital cameras lenses and flashes. Using telephoto lenses allows detailed coverage of your ceremony from a distance, and professional quality portrait and wide-angle lenses provide high quality images. I carry a minimum of three cameras plus duplicates of all other equipment for backup.

Do you provide black and white images?

Yes. Approximately 20% of your final images may be printed as black and white or sepia tone if requested. This is a choice you make prior to the wedding and is included in our services.

How do you plan the photos for our wedding?

During a pre-wedding consultation you will be provided with a detailed form that includes all the important people involved in your special day. It also includes a section that asks about special traditions during your ceremony or reception, and all details are incorporated into a wedding day time line that I carry with me the day of the event.

How do we book our date with you?

A $500 retainer fee will hold your wedding date. The fee is applied to your total photography package.

You then complete a one page photography contract which holds your date.

What do the photography package fees include?

While each package has an approximate time allowed for covering the wedding day, all pre-wedding consultation and planning, up to 8 hours of editing of wedding images. Your wedding day images are presented in a bound image journal. The photos are edited so there are no unflattering images and they are arranged and numbered so they tell the story of your wedding from start to finish. This proof album is yours to keep.

All of your wedding day photos are posted online at no charge. A special password allows family and friends to view your photos and order copies if they like.

You receive a beautifully packaged DVD of all your edited wedding images so that you may print as many photos as you like.  Image size up to 4 X 6 prints.

Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes! You choose the design that matches your personal taste. I offer a number of traditional matted albums, or a Kingston style flush mount album design.

Do you offer Engagement sessions?

Yes.  An environmental engagement session is available.  Couples may use images in announcements, or place them in either a signature frame, or signature album with your          choice of 6-5X7 prints.

What if I do not need all of the items that are included in your Wedding Packages?

Wedding packages are designed to give you complete flexibility to customize as best suits your needs. I encourage couples to schedule a consultation with me so we may design a custom wedding day package on an A La Carte basis.

How many images should I expect to receive?

There is no limit to the number of images created. The final number of photos varies according to the number of family and bridal party members, the length of the wedding coverage and the number of detail shots and candid shots that present themselves. On average four to six hours of wedding coverage will result in 400-550 images.

What do you do with the images?

All images are edited one at a time, professionally color balanced and transferred to a high resolution DVD for use in creating the image journal reprints and albums. Ultimately I believe that the bride and groom should have a complete set of all their wedding day images that they may archive for future use. A DVD of all images is included with the initial fees or it may be purchased at a later time.

When may we expect to see our wedding images?

Your wedding images are generally posted online within three weeks and your image journal is delivered within one month of your wedding.
